Trkulja Radislav Rasa was born on April 9, 1938 in Kladovo. He got his undergraduate degree on the Art Academy in Belgrade in class of Professor Djordje Andrejevic – Kun in 1963. He got his graduate degree in Master workshop of Krsta Hegedušić in Zagreb in 1965.
Master painter since 1965.
Member of ULUS since 1964.
Member of Serbian Art Society “LADA” since 1968.
Displayed independently for the first time in 1957 in Negotin. He founded PENA Gallery in Đerdap in 1975 with constant display of his works. He is one of the founders of Art Society Krajinski Krug in Negotin in 1991. From 1993 to 2000 he is the director of Museum of Modern Arts in Belgrade.
He has since displayed in more then 70 independent and more then 400 collective exhibits in the country and abroad: Vienna, Florence, Caracas, Stockholm, Milan, New York, Berlin, Toledo, Paris, Tel Aviv, Nicosia, Tripoli.
He participated in many painting colonies in the country and abroad. His paintings can be found in museum funds and galleries in the country and abroad, as well as in many private collections.
He received numerous awards and merits for painting in the country and abroad.
